Haddenham and Long Crendon neighbourhood
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
1. Burglary non dwelling – We have dwellings in the area over the last month, with none in the Waddesdon seen a large decrease in burglary non neighbourhood and 5 in the Haddenham area. A male from Oxford has been charged to appear at court with a burglary non dwelling which occurred in Long Crendon.
The team are continuing to promote crime prevention and have organised several tool/property marking events over recent weeks. If you would like to make an appointment for a member of the team to mark your tools or machinery please call 101.
2. Theft from motor vehicles– There have been no theft from motor vehicles in the area in the last month. The team are continuing to carry out proactive patrols in beauty spot car parks, with dedicated resources at weekend, to deter offenders from attacking unattended vehicles. If you leave valuables on display in your car you can expect a letter from us in the post reminding you that you are putting your vehicle and property at risk.
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
