Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Burglary non dwellings and theft from motor vehicle - We have seen an increase in both burglary non dwellings and theft from motor vehicle offences across the area in the last 4 weeks. Of particular note are a series of burglary non dwellings at Bishopstone and Haddenham, targeting heating oil and insecure vehicles.  All of these offences have occurred overnight. . In response to this, the team has been attending the victims of all of these crimes to provide target hardening advice and information to prevent them from becoming repeat victims. The team has been conducting high visibility foot and cycle patrols around vulnerable areas of Haddenham and Bishopstone.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
