Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

1. Burglary non dwelling – Once again we have seen very low numbers of non dwelling burglaries across Waddesdon and Haddenham this month. We have been informed of a couple of thefts from churches which are obviously vulnerable being open all day, and often containing valuable items which are attractive to thieves. The team will be patrolling around the churches across the area to try and deter these offences but we ask that you are vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour.

2. Theft from motor vehicles– There has been very few theft from motor vehicles across the area in the last 4 weeks. Two males from Warwickshire area have been charged with 6 offences of stealing catalytic converters across the area including one from Haddenham. The team take the opportunity to remind everyone to ensure their vehicles are locked and that no valuable are left in view.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
