Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Crimal damage - There was no let up for the team over Christmas and into the New Year as we were kept busy with a spate of criminal damage offences around Waddesdon. The majority of these offences involved the offender damaging car tires with a Stanley knife or similar. These crimes caused considerable inconvenience and expense to the victims. In response we undertook several weeks of proactive patrols in the evenings and overnight to deter any further offences. Officers from the neighborhood team as well as response officers from Aylesbury were drafted in to maintain a highly visible presence in the village

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
