Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Theft from motor vehicles and burglary non dwelling - This month has seen an increase in both thefts from motor vehicles and burglary non dwellings. As a result the area has been placed as a tasking area (an area where officers proactively patrol to deter crime) for us on the neighborhood team and also for the response officers working out of Aylesbury and Buckingham, so if you see an increase in police vehicles about this will be the reason (albeit it will be at night time). A male from Waddesdon was arrested and questioned in relation to a couple of break ins at the pubs in Waddesdon, but evidence came to light that exonerated him from the crimes and so he was released with no further action.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
