Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Speeding: Wycombe Road, London Road, Aylesbury Road, Rignall Road, High Street, Martinsend Lane, Nags Head Lane and Beech Tree Road. Through public consultation, roads have been identified as having a problem with speeding or inappropriate speeds from motorists. The roads selected for speed enforcement and driver education are those that have much pedestrian use and are near changes in speed limits.
  2. Burglary Dwelling (Tasking). Being burgled can be a very traumatic experience for some people and so the Neighbourhood Policing Team will be working hard to try and prevent dwelling burglaries and apprehend the offenders. We will focus on providing good quality crime prevention advice and conducting high visibility patrol in those areas most at risk.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
