Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

1. Burglary - Thames Valley Police have made it a force priority and the Neighbourhood Policing team will play its part in combating burglary.
2. Theft from Insecure Vehicles - in order to assist us in combating this type of crime motorists are encouraged to ensure their vehicles are secure and any valuables left in the car are placed out of sight.
3. Making off without Payment - these offences are committed where some motorists are filling their vehicles with fuel and then driving off without making any attempt to pay.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
