Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) in Whitethorns: Recently we have had very few incidents reported around the area and hopefully this will continue. We will continue to monitor the area and deal with issues robustly. Your support and input is, as always, of great help so if you have any information please contact us on 101.
  2. General crime at the Motorway Services: Crime has lowered in the last month in general and plans are in place in the short-term to fix the northbound barrier to stop easy access onto Little Linford Lane.
  3. Parking around schools: Following a working group arrangement between the council, TVP and all four primary schools who are onboard, we hope to have the Park Smart scheme up and running across the schools in Newport Pagnell by next year with junior road safety officers trained and ready to go to advise safe parking at all the locations.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
