Wantage East neighbourhood

Local priorities

After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:

1. Dog fouling. This is an issue that residents complain about, mostly around the recreation ground in Chilton, The Furlong, West Hendred, and Eastfields Blewbury.
2. Speeding. Some motorists exceed speed limit along the Greenaway, West Hendred, Steventon, High Street, Milton and White Road East Hendred.
3. Parking. There are concerns about car parking in areas around White Road, East Hendred, and South Row, Chilton.

Neighbourhood Action Group

These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
