Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Speeding. Middlebrook Road in Downley has been named as having excessive speeding concerns in the area with motorists going over the 30 mph speed limit.
  2. Parking. Locations with obstructive and dangerous parking problems have been identified as Brindley Avenue, Telford Way, Littleworth Road and Plomer Green Avenue.
  3. Lack of Youth Projects. There is shortage of projects for young people in the area. ideas are being developed in Downley and Disraeli; including starting a local youth magazine.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
