Oakridge / Castlefield neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

1. Drugs. Cannabis and cocaine usage in the Nursery Green Park area off Rowliff Road / Castlefield. Suspected incidents have stopped as surrounding foliage has been cut down.
2. Parking. Dangerous parking is a concern along Rutland Avenue and Booker Lane junction; this affects controlled area of the crossing and obstructs pavements and junctions.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
