Local priorities - 'You said, We did'
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
You said: Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) Lloyds Court
Complaints from members of the public of street drinking, urinating in public and shouting foul and abusive language.
You said: Bicyle Thefts
Reports of bike thefts in and around the city centre
Regular bike marking events, high visablity and plain clothes patrols of cycle racks and theft hot spots
You said: Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) linked to homelessness
Complaints from members of the public regarding begging, complaints from building managers of people sleeping and causing damage in stairwells and communal areas.
We carry out regualr patrols moviing on beggars and rough sleepers, arrests have been made were good evidence has been obtained of begging and criminal damage to property. We are working closely with partners to develop a coordinated strategy with homelessness.
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
