Campbell Park East neighbourhood

Local priorities

After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:

  1. Young people. Groups of young people gathering outside local centres, in bus shelters and being noisy.
  2. Graffiti & vandalism. Some bridges, tree trunks, bus shelters and road signs have been tagged and vandalised.
  3. Traffic issues. There are parking issues around schools, particularly during run times. Excess speeding seems to be a problem along Patterson Avenue.

Neighbourhood Action Group

These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
