Campbell Park East neighbourhood
Local priorities
After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:
- Young people. Groups of young people gathering outside local centres, in bus shelters and being noisy.
- Graffiti & vandalism. Some bridges, tree trunks, bus shelters and road signs have been tagged and vandalised.
- Traffic issues. There are parking issues around schools, particularly during run times. Excess speeding seems to be a problem along Patterson Avenue.
Neighbourhood Action Group
These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
