Campbell Park West neighbourhood
Local priorities
After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:
- Fly tipping/rubbish. Some people put out their bins too early or put rubbish in the wrong bin. Fly tipping involves dumping of household items, garden waste and shopping trolleys.
- Parking. Some drivers block access to footpaths, pavements, outside shops and roundabouts. Some households have more cars than parking space available at their houses.
- Maintenance of the estate. There are concerns about broken pavements, overgrown grass areas, lack of care to properties and damaged roads in some parts of the neighbourhood.
Neighbourhood Action Group
These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
