Denbigh / The Leys neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Anti-social behaviour. Young people drink alcohol around the Westminster Drive playground and Melrose shops creating noise, some ride mini-motos on the park.
  2. Speeding along Whaddon Way between Melrose to Watling Street, Westminster Drive, Sutherland Grove, Barleyhurst and Kinross Drive, Angus Drive, Melrose and Cleeve Crescent.
  3. Drugs activity has been noticed in the park near Buckfast Avenue, the garages on Essex Close and in the square of Cleeve Crescent.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
