Furzton / Shenley Lodge neighbourhood

Local priorities

After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:

  1. Drinking and anti-social behaviour. Groups of young people who congregate in the areas of Tesco Dulverton Drive, Furzton and Furzton Lake car park abuse alcohol are noisy.
  2. Litter and graffiti. Complaints about graffiti on the pavilion situated off Lynmouth Crescent. The situation is improving because there are no new incidents reported recently.
  3. Parking. Inconsiderate parking in the areas surrounding Dulverton Drive, Lynmouth Crescent and Twitchen Lane, Furzton, often cause obstruction to other road users.

Neighbourhood Action Group

These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
