MK Rural South neighbourhood

Local priorities

After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:

  1. Parking. There is a parking problem on several locations around the High Street in Woburn Sands.
  2. Speeding. Motorists exceeding speed limit on several roads, particularly around the High Street, Watling Street, Little Brickhill, Station Road and Newport Road.
  3. Traffic and congestion through the area is light. The main cause has been faults with the Woburn Sands crossing barrier.

Neighbourhood Action Group

These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
