Newport Pagnell / Service Area neighbourhood

Local priorities

After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:

  1. Parking on Queensway. Lack of parking space makes some motorists park on double yellow lines leading to obstructions in and around Granby Court, particularly on match days.
  2. Rubbish - including dog mess. There is dumped rubbish and dog mess around the Balancing Lake which is situated off Hunter Drive.
  3. Speeding. Motorists exceed speed limit on Eaton Avenue Bletchley feeding into Leon Avenue and Manor Road.

Neighbourhood Action Group

These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
