Stony Stratford / Calverton neighbourhood
Local priorities
After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:
- Anti-social behaviour. Concerning groups of people congregating in the High Street, Stony Stratford - this causes noise and rubbish including broken glass and cigarette ends.
- Criminal damage. The main problem is graffiti affecting Green Park, Ousebank Way and Mill Field.
- Traffic issues. This is a wide spread issue but mainly affects London Road, Wolverton Road and Ousebank Way, particularly during school times, evenings and weekends.
Neighbourhood Action Group
These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
