Tattenhoe neighbourhood

Local priorities

After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:

1. Litter. Inappropriate disposal of food wrappers from fast food outlets in the Westcroft District Centre and litter affecting the route from the CO-OP in Emerson Valley to Rusland Circus.
2. Underage drinking. Young people get drunk and shout, swear and damage property around Rusland Circus and near the BP garage and play area near Sykes Croft. This affects the use of both play and park facilities.
3. Vandalism and grafitti - currently under review

These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
