Woughton North neighbourhood

Local priorities

After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:

1. Vandalism / graffiti. This involves vegetables being dug up and thrown at Patch allotments, equipment stolen from containers and graffiti on Eaglestone and Pear Tree underpasses.
2. Litter. The estate is concerned about discarding of packaging materials, chip papers, empty cans and general litter in areas around Harrier Court Eaglestone and Pear Tree Bridge.
3. Mini motos. Illegal riding of mini motos and motor cycles is dangerous to road users and causes noise nuisance up and down Pear Tree Lane and Merlin Walk on Eaglestone.

These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
