Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Parking is a problem in the centre of the ward, particularly along Mill Street in the area behind the Railway Station.
  2. Drug related behaviour is an issue in connection to reports that drug-related rubbish being found in some locations.
  3. Anti-social behaviour is a general complaint around the ward in relation to the behaviour of some young people perceived to be intimidating.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
