Earley South neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Speeding. Roads identified as a main concern are Pitts Lane, Beech Lane, Rushey Way, Kilnsea Drive, RedHatch, Silverdale, Chatteris and Cutbush Lane.
  2. Parking. Outside schools is the main issue although residents feel it is a general problem across the area.
  3. Anti-social behaviour. Young people congregating, making noise and nuisance in Maiden Place and surrounding areas.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
