Langley St Mary neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Speeding and obstruction at the junction of Meadfield Road and Langley Road and the Harrow Market shops. Station Road is a 30 mph zone but some motorists do exceed that limit
  2. Anti-social behaviour. Mopeds driven anti-socially on roads and council parks. Mead Avenue and Maplin Park are subject to low level disturbances from groups of young people .
  3. Litter. This is a problem around Harrow Market Shops. Rubbish is also often dropped on the alley-way along the side of the houses opposite the college.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
