Caversham Lower neighbourhood
Local priorities
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
- Burglary - There are identified long term hot-spots for dwelling burglary in Lower Caversham.
- Speeding - Residents have identified potential issues in Gosbrook Road, George Street, Washington Road, Westfield Road and Southview Avenue. The Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) will concentrate on these areas initially.
- Parking and Drugs – Certain roads and park areas respectively.
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
