Maidenhead Riverside / Belmont neighbourhood
Local priorities
The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:
- Burglary (dwelling) is the issue on which residents would most like the police to continue to focus their resources and attention and is a widely expressed concern across the NAG area. Burglary (non-dwelling), mainly from garden sheds, is also an issue.
- Road Safety. Residents’ feedback shows that road safety, speeding and parking are a viewed as widespread and interlinked local problems.
- Anti-social Behaviour. A wide range of anti-social behaviour issues are of concern across the NAG area, including rowdy behaviour and noise late at night and from vehicles. This is not limited to the more affluent areas as the concern is slightly more marked elsewhere.
These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
