Maidenhead Town Centre neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

1. Anti-social behaviour. We are now looking at King Street where issues involve young people congregating anti-socially and causing a negative effect on retailers as well as residents.
2. Shop theft. There is a problem with retailers failing to report shop theft. We are running a scheme which allows the police and retailers to share information about the problem.
3. Parking. We are addressing this issue on West Street - a narrow road used by delivery vehicles to access the rear of the shops; causing congestion problems.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
