Southcote neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Anti-social behaviour. Most incidents are concentrated in the area of Coronation Square. The whole issue is being tackled by youth workers
  2. Drugs. The neighbourhood policing team are carrying out search warrants to disrupt drug dealings in the area.
  3. Traffic/speeding. Various areas and roads in Southcote are considered to be used as a race track and have excessive vehicles driving at speed and dangerously

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
