Whitley South neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Rowdiness. Groups of rowdy and disorderly young people congregate in the evenings near the shops along Northumberland Avenue.
  2. Drugs. There are concerns about drug taking and dealing around the Whitley Wood Road area.
  3. Environmental issues. Residents are concerned about litter being dropped, especially in alleyways and parks.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
