CCTV released following a burglary at a public house - Wycombe

18 January 2016, 4:56 pm

Thames Valley Police has released CCTV images of two men officers would like to speak to in connection with a burglary at a public house.

About 40 bottles of spirit worth approximately £825 were taken from the Bootlegger pub in Amersham Hill, High Wycombe, between about 4.50am and 6.10am on Tuesday 12 January.

Offenders entered the pub after forcing open a cellar door at the back of the premises.

They also stole the master keys and were unsuccessful in their attempt to access the tills.

It is believed offenders carried the bottles in large duffle bags from the premise towards Amersham Hill.

Police would like to speak to the men shown in the CCTV images as they may have information which could help with the investigation.

Investigating officer PC Hannah Davison, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “It was about 6.10am when the offenders left the Bootlegger pub. The early morning commute was beginning and traffic was travelling down Amersham Hill at the time.

“Motorists may have seen the offenders.

“I would like to speak to anyone who may have seen what happened, or who recognises the men shown in the CCTV images, to get in touch.”

Anyone with information can contact PC Hannah Davison, at High Wycombe police station, via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.

If you don't want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
