Ruscote / Hardwick / Neithrop neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour:  Young people hang around shops, parks and parts of the estates. Residents feel that a minority contribute to anti-social behaviour, particularly if they have been drinking, and that this is caused by a lack of activities for them to do. Local people want to support Positive Activities for young people and strengthen community cohesion to address this
  2. Autocrime:  There has been an increase in vehicle related thefts over the past few months and the group will support police-led initiatives to reduce these types of offences.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
