Blackbird Leys neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Drugs. The “Top Shops”, Warburg Crescent and Cherry Close are areas identified as ‘hot spots’ for dealing drugs.
  2. Anti-social behaviour. Groups of young people along Dunnock Way, the “Top Shops” and Coriander Way create general nuisance which residents find intimidating.
  3. Parking. Concerns have been raised along Watlington Road and the parking bays at Windrush Tower.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
