Wallingford neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Theft. The neighbourhood team have received reports of lawn mowers being stolen from outbuildings in the Wantage Road area. If you live in this area and own a lawnmower please check that it hasn’t been stolen.
  2. Bicycle Thefts. The neighbourhood team is aware of an increase in bicycle thefts in Wallingford Town.
  3. Parking. There have been a number of complaints about the obstruction caused by vehicles parked on the double yellow lines in the Market Place, Wallingford. The neighbourhood team will be issuing fines for any vehicles parked illegally.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
