Drayton / Sutton Courtney / Appleford neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Anti-social behaviour. Young people get drunk and cause minor anti-social incidents and criminal damage around the village. They are abusive to residents but when challenged by PCSOs or the police they deny any wrong doing.
  2. Violence against the person. This involves patrols and checks of licensed premises to prevent and deter any offences occurring.
  3. Alcohol abuse. The Neighbourhood Action Group is looking at diverting young people away from alcohol.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
