Peachcroft / Northcourt neighbourhood

Local priorities

The following priorities have been identified by the community and the police:

  1. Anti-social behaviour. Although anti-social incidents have decreased the following areas are still being monitored; Albert Park, The Abbey, Peachcroft Park and Grebe Close.
  2. Violence against the person. This involves patrols and checks of licensed premises to prevent and deter any offences occurring.
  3. Prevention of Theft During the Christmas Period Shopliftings and other thefts generally see an increase during the festive period. In the run up to Christmas, the neighbourhood team will be addressing the problem of shopliftings, snatch thefts and thefts from vehicles through increased visibility in the town centre & other key areas, through planned operations, and through campaigns to raise awareness of theft issues.

These are being dealt with by your neighbourhood policing team in partnership with residents and other agencies. Progress will be reported in the Neighbourhood updates.
