Wootton / Marcham / Sunningwell neighbourhood

Local priorities

After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:

  1. Anti-social behaviour. Anti-social incidents have decreased but the Louie Memorial Field is the hot spot for perceived anti-social behaviour. Weekend patrols are conducted regularly.
  2. Auto crime. This involves theft of vehicles, theft from vehicles and vehicle interference.
  3. Louie Memorial Field. The Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) is helping to develop the Louie Memorial Field and reduce any perception of anti-social behaviour.

Neighbourhood Action Group

These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
