Wytham / Cumnor / Appleton neighbourhood
Local priorities
After consultation with the communities in the neighbourhood, the following priorities were identified:
- Anti-social behaviour. Anti-social incidents have decreased but the Louie Memorial Field is the hot spot for perceived anti-social behaviour. Weekend patrols are conducted regularly.
- Auto crime. This involves theft of vehicles, theft from vehicles and vehicle interference.
- Louie Memorial Field. The Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) is helping to develop the Louie Memorial Field and reduce any perception of anti-social behaviour.
Neighbourhood Action Group
These issues are now being tackled by the Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG) made up of local residents and partner organisations.
