Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please provide me with information on the following: 1. Number of domestic abuse cases reported to the force since 1st January 2010 up to the date of the receipt of this request. Please break down the numbers based on the following categories, if known: a. Male victims of domestic abuse in heterosexual relationship b. Male victims of domestic abuse in homosexual relationship c. Female victims of domestic abuse in heterosexual relationship d. Female victims of domestic abuse in homosexual relationship Please provide statistics regarding year, type (e.g. threatening behaviour, grievous bodily harm), and severity of incidents, if available. Please also provide statistics on the outcome of cases where available (e.g. case dropped; conviction, etc.). 2. The rank/designation of police personnel who may be involved during the investigation of a domestic abuse case, and a brief description of their capacity (e.g. administrative support, decision making role, etc.). Please also provide the number of given personnel who serve at the police constabulary/service. 3. Training available (mandatory / CPD / etc.) to personnel regarding the handling of domestic abuse cases, and the level of emphasis male victims of domestic abuse receive during this training. The number of personnel and their designation who have undertaken such training. 4. The normal course of case progression of a domestic abuse incident from it being reported to the police to reaching any outcome; including, if available: a. the designation of personnel who may be involved at each stage, b. those personnel’s decision making capacities.
