This request, reference HQ/PA/2272/15, was received on Tuesday 18 August 2015, 11:14am.

1. When a car is seized by Thames Valley Police and transported to the Compound at Newport Pagnell who pays for this service? Is there a standard charge and if so how much is this? 2. Does TVP receive any of the monies which are paid by the car owner to the Compound for the recovery and release of their vehicle i.e. the £150 release fee? If so, please can you advise me as to the precise sum which TVP actually receives? 3. Does TVP have a contractual agreement with the Compound whereby TVP guarantees that a certain number of vehicles will be sent to this Compound on a regular basis e.g. per month, per year etc.? If so, please can you provide details of this arrangement stating numbers?
