We have received multiple reports of drug crime within Woodley and North Earley.

As a team we are patrolling the drug hotspots identified by the public. When grounds permit officers have been completing stop searches, and anyone found in possession of drugs will be dealt with robustly. Please report any drug dealing or drug use online, via 101 or 999 if the crime is in progress.

We have seen an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) across the area as the days get longer and the weather begins to get warmer.

Officers have been out on foot on high visibility patrols engaging with groups and responding to reports. Officers have also been giving tickets to those cycling through Woodley town centre.
As the summer is approaching with longer days and warmer weather we will be carrying out multiple anti-social behaviour operations.
We would like to also remind parents of their parental responsibilities.

We have received numerous reports of E-scooter and E-bike use in the area.

In response to reports of E-scooters and E-bikes officers have been out and about educating the public, issuing warnings, and seizing E-scooters and E-bikes where necessary. We will be continuing our work around E-bikes and E-scooters to make the streets safer for everyone.
