Large Car meets in Colnbrook on the weekends in Poyle Area, causing a large amount of anti-social behaviour in the area and residents concerns of the manor of driving and noise from the meets.

These gatherings are generating significant antisocial behaviour, and residents are concerned about reckless driving and the noise from these events. Recently, a camera was installed to capture footage of careless drivers. The neighbourhood team has been proactive in their response, issuing 56 Section 59 notices to drivers involved and seizing three vehicles from outside the area over the past month. Thames Valley Police are currently collaborating to develop a force-wide response to address these issues.

Catapults and asb in Colnbrook

In Colnbrook, tackling the issue of youths using catapults and engaging in antisocial behaviour (ASB) has become a top priority for the neighbourhood team. We are collaborating with local agencies, schools, and bus services to create a safer environment through educational talks and community engagements aimed at raising awareness about the consequences of such actions. Officers are also conducting daily patrols, performing stop checks, seizing catapults, and dealing firmly with individuals involved.

Over the past few months, residents have raised concerns about the volume of traffic flowing through Colnbrook High Street, in violation of a current traffic order. Colnbrook High Street is designated for use by residents only and is not intended as a through road.

The Neighbourhood team has been active in the area, issuing a number of tickets to drivers using the High Street as a through road. During their patrols, officers have observed that new signs need to be placed in more visible locations, as the existing ones are not adequately seen from certain directions. The Neighbourhood team is working with local authorities to enhance driver awareness and prevent further traffic within the High Street area.
