Violence and knife crime in Wexham
Action taken:
We continue to increase our patrols in Wexham with Operation Cuba.
Two closure orders obtained for properties linked to drugs and violence.
We have completed a number of schools talks in relation to knife crime.
We speak to the community to gather intelligence and make visits to vulnerable people who could be subject to exploitation. -
Priority:
ASB and rough sleepers in The Metalworks, Petersfield Avenue, Slough.
Action taken:
We received lots of reports of drug use and rough sleepers at the metalworks. We increased our patrols, liaised with residence and asked the community to ensure they were not allowing people to following them into the building. We had a site visit with the managing agent and asked for doors to be fixed which seems to have reduced the issues. We continue to patrol the area.
