A public misconduct hearing will take place in connection with a former Thames Valley Police Constable commencing on Thursday 2 July 2026 at 10am and is scheduled for 2 days.
The hearing will take place at Thames Valley Police Headquarters in Kidlington, Oxfordshire before a panel chaired by ACC Dennis Murray.
Former Police Constable Wood faces allegations whereby it is alleged that on various occasions during the course of his training which began in October 2023, he made comments or behaved in a manner which were offensive in that he was racist and / or discriminatory.
It is alleged that Former Police Constable Wood breached the Standards of Professional Behaviour in relation to Authority, Respect and Courtesy, Equality and Diversity and Discreditable Conduct.
The Appropriate Authority allege that if these allegations are proven, the conduct would amount to gross misconduct for which dismissal had the officer remained serving would be justified.
