We are continuing to introduce new apprenticeships across both Police Staff and Police Officer roles as we look to attract diverse talent across the organisation – the variety of opportunities available has never been greater.

The apprenticeships we offer are open to all, although for some roles an age restriction of 18 applies. Apprenticeships have already been offered in the following departments:

  • ICT (Information Communication Technology)
  • Motor Vehicle Technician
  • Finance & Accountancy
  • People Services (HR)
  • Learning & Development
  • Corporate Communications
  • Emergency Call Handler

Late 2018 will see TVP introduce new entry routes into policing including the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) which will be open to anyone between the age of 18-55 who meets the eligibility requirements. A Police Community Support Officer Apprenticeship is also in development for 2019. We are currently accepting expressions of interest for these exciting new apprenticeship entry routes.
