Thames Valley Police has successfully applied for a closure order in relation to a property in Slough, following complaints about antisocial behaviour.

On Tuesday (13/2), Reading Magistrates’ Court granted a full closure order on 38 Pentland Road, Slough, for three months. During this time, the property is closed to everyone, including the tenant, and anyone found breaching the order could be arrested and may face a fine or prison sentence.

This followed an application for the order by the Slough North Neighbourhood Policing team because of local residents’ complaints about antisocial behaviour by the occupant and visitors to the address.

PC Gary Ryan, neighbourhood officer for the area said, “Hopefully the actions that we have taken will demonstrate to our communities that we will listen to their concerns and act swiftly and robustly.”
