Formal identification and family tribute released – Slough

Formal identification has taken place following the death of a man in Cippenham Lane, Slough on Wednesday, 9 May.

The man has been formally identified as Jason Jay Gardner, aged 43, of Slough.

A murder investigation has been launched in relation to the incident, and two men have been charged in connection with it.

Mr Gardner’s family have released the following tribute:

“Jason was a loving son, father, husband, brother, uncle and friend whose smile could lift a room.

“He will be sorely missed by all those whose lives he touched so positively.”

Charlie Joseph Ward, aged 35, of Eltham Avenue, Slough and John Christopher Ward, aged 57, of Stoke Road in Slough, have been both been charged with one count of murder.

They appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 12 May.
