Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision that happened in Olney.
At 3.18pm on Thursday (8/4) on the Clifton Road, Olney, a collision occurred between a Blue BMW R1100 RS motorcycle and a Blue Scania Tipper lorry.
The lorry was travelling away from Clifton Reynes towards the A509, the motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction.
The rider of the motorbike a 57-year-old man from Cambridgeshire who was returning home from work, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries where he remains.
No arrests have been made in connection with this incident.
Sergeant Darren Brown of Thames Valley Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are investigating this collision in which a motorcyclist sustained life threatening injuries.
“We are asking anyone who may have witnessed this collision and who may have dash-cam footage to please get in touch.”
