Thames Valley Police is continuing to appeal for help in locating a missing man from Kidlington.
Derek Brant, aged 62, from Kidlington, was reported missing on Friday (23/7).
He was last seen between 3pm and 3.30pm on Friday (23/7) in Summertown, walking towards Kidlington where he was wearing a navy/black coloured polo shirt and black cargo trousers.
Superintendent Emma Garside, based at Banbury police station, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Derek and are appealing for the help of the public in finding him.
“Having been missing for a few days, Derek’s appearance may have changed and he may appear in a dishevelled state.
“He can also often be found in the local community assisting with litter picking and so we would ask people to please keep an eye out if you see anyone matching this description.
"Please consider checking your cars, sheds, outhouses and other places of shelter in case Derek has tried to find refuge overnight.
“I would urge anyone who may have seen Derek, or anyone who thinks they know where he is to please get in touch by calling 101 quoting reference 43210328398.”
Note to editors:
Appeal updated with ask to the public to check sheds, garages and outbuildings.
