Further arrest made in murder investigation – Oxford

Officers investigating the murder of a man in Bayswater Road, Oxford, have made a further arrest.
A 40-year-old man from Oxford was arrested this afternoon on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and assisting an offender.
He remains in police custody.
The arrest is in connection with an incident on Friday (8/10) in which a man aged in his thirties died.
Lewis Brown, aged 20, of Barton Village Road, Oxford, has been charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and will appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Monday (11/10).
Although formal identification has not yet taken place, a Home Office post-mortem examination conducted today (10/10) has confirmed that the victim died from a stab wound to the chest.
The scene-watch in Bayswater Road and adjacent park has now been lifted.
