Appeal for witnesses following serious injury road traffic collision - Oxford

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision that happened in Oxford.
At around 2.20am on Friday 17 September 2021, a collision took place between a vehicle and a pedestrian on Oxford Road, Cowley. It happened near the junction with Edmund Road.
The pedestrian, a man aged in his thirties, sustained serious injuries and is now in hospital in a stable condition. The man’s injuries are not life-threatening or life changing.
No arrests have been made in connection with this incident.
Investigating officer PC Tim Cameron, of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident whereby a pedestrian has sustained serious injuries after this collision.
“I would ask that anyone who was in or near the area in which this collision took place, to get in touch with us if you saw anything or have any information on it.
“Also, if any motorists in the area that have dash-cam footage could please check as to whether anything significant was caught, as it could help our investigation.
