CCTV image released in connection with GBH investigation – Newbury

Thames Valley Police is releasing a CCTV image of two men officers would like to speak to in connection with an investigation into an incident of grievous bodily harm in Newbury.
Before 6pm on Saturday 14 August, the victim, a man in his twenties, was assaulted outside the grandstand at Newbury Racecourse.
He sustained injuries to his face, cuts to his head and a broken shin.
Investigating officer, PC Niamh Meaney, based at Newbury police station said: “We are releasing the image of these two men as we believe they may have information about this incident.
“If you recognise either of the men in this image, or believe either may be you, please get in touch.
“I would also appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened to please contact police.
“To report any information you can call 101 or make a report online, quoting reference 43210364306. If you have any mobile phone footage that may assist the investigation, you can submit this to us using our dedicated online portal.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
