Appeal for witnesses following serious injury RTC – Swinford

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision in Swinford.

The incident occurred yesterday (30/4) at around 8pm on the B4044, Eynsham Road, south of the Swinford Toll Bridge.

The collision involved a white Peugeot Expert van and a red Yamaha motorbike.

The motorcyclist, a man in his twenties, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital at this time.

The driver of the van was uninjured.

Investigating officer, PC Dean O’Dell, of the Joint Operations Road Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing to any witnesses, or anyone who may have information about this incident, to please come forward.

“If you have any CCTV footage or any dash-cam footage if you were in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.
