Thames Valley Police is releasing a CCTV image of a man and two women that officers would like to speak to as they may have vital information regarding an assault in Newbury.
The incident occurred around 8.17pm on Saturday 16 July in McDonalds on Northbrook Street, Newbury.
The victim, a man in his twenties, was sat at a table eating when three offenders approached him. Following a verbal altercation, one offender punched him in the face causing him to fall backwards off the chair.
The victim received a black eye and did not require hospital treatment.
Investigating officer, PS Richard Tarrant, based at Newbury police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the individuals in this image to please get in touch.
“You can get in touch by either making a report online or by calling 101 quoting reference number 43220314916.
“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
